Well here's something sorta new, been looking at a lotta Gueuzav and watched through Wakfu (otherwise known as Dem-hips: the animation) so my first concept for an assignment i have coming up came out very hippy, and with much better/sturdier legs than usual.
Gueuzav influence gladly admitted, i really wish i had half the light and composition he does.
Its something i really didn't know i needed to adress so very badly, legs for me have always been very much added on later, more an afterthought than an integral component, but so much of what we do and how we move starts with our hips.
So this pic more than most of what i draw definitely has stability and a real on-the-ground placement
PS the lighting is great
I"m hoping to employ some of these things in my graphic novel submission, fukken 10 pages in a published graphic novel. I've got so damn far to go, i mean I know we all do... but I'm just so OLD...
d'ohohoho
Beautiful. Gorgeous even.
very cute design, love the hair ^^. Also clothing ideas? lol
I didn't really see a problem with the legs until you said-so tried standing like that that and yes it is a little awkward, mostly on the left (her left) back leg. Maybe because so much weight is shifted on that hip and the body is so stretched out on that side, it would be hard to bend that knee that way?
